And since this shirt may be the epitome of greatness in terms of clothing, because it combines thugs, sunglasses, and popsicles, I felt like eating a real popsicle in its honor. VIEW:
It was a momentous occasion.
Anyways, since I haven't written in awhile, I'll give you a basic rundown of the last week or so. Gustavus was on spring break, so I got to see my LOVELY best friend Andrew Lewis. We grew a lot closer this last week, since I'm not actually miserable and he's not annoyed that I'm sad, hahah. That might sound bizarre, but I think he gets really frustrated when I'm upset and he doesn't know what to do. We're good now, though, so it was a brilliant week. We went to Applebee's the first night he was back and were served free shots - we weren't even asked if we were 21! Applebee's is my new favorite restaurant. Proof? We stole our shot glasses (which are plastic, so we figured they were just going to throw them away anyway). Thank you, Applebee's.
When Andrew and I weren't tipping back a few Coronas at his place while watching Pokemon movies (yeah, we're *that* cool), we basically chilled at my house or went to Michelle's, who threw a few good get-together's this week. She is such a great friend! Another day, Liz and Andrew and I went to The Tea Garden and got a bite to eat at Punch (an authentic Italian pizza place). A favorite Tea Garden pastime, of course, is taking photos on Liz's comp.
We had a lot of fun! That night, we hung out at my place and played Scene It and HP Scene It. Liz won both games, haha.
Easter Sunday rolled around and, while I wasn't scaling a 32 foot ladder with one hand (which, by the way, I am the master at), I was playing with my favorite godsons Ryan and Blake. I love them SO much and it was so great to see everyone and play outside in the beautiful weather.
Random occurrences that I didn't yet talk about, but I believe deserve mentioning:
The other day, I decided to curl my hair, which I haven't done since about 10th grade or so. I never realized that it could be so easy or so addicting. I'm like a curling iron addict and my hair looks AWESOME. Now, if you didn't already know this, my favorite part about myself (physical traits alone) is my hair. It's naturally extremely curly/wavy and voluminous, but I've learned how to straighten it properly. Now that I've mastered the art of the curling iron, I love my hair even more.
I started reading Harry Potter again. I'll probably finish the first book tonight and, I must say, I'm sad that I waited this long to reread them. Although, I'll most likely retract that statement upon finishing the seventh book, haha.
I am more than slightly obsessed with Justin Bieber.
I'm attracted to this guy and it's complicated. But that's not really news at all, is it?
I LOVE TAB.
And now for the shameless plug, which I believe should entitle me to at least a bitch position within an advertising agency.
Think Tab is not for you?
Think again.
When you're tired and need a pick-me-up,
Tab is there to refresh and rejuvenate.
When you're jamming out to your favorite band,
Or when you're defeating Team Rocket, Tab gives you the energy you need.
Whether you have a secret to keep,
Or a rumor to spread. *obnoxious knee cap.
When you're hiding out,
Or you're showing off. *HAHAH THIS POSE IS RIDIC.
Whether you're an Asian lover,
Or a downright thug,
Or a scholar, Tab is there to help you out.
Tab. For when you're... you.
If only I could make commercials for a living... I'm sure I would excel in life, haha.
And this is the longest blog I've ever posted because of the photos. GO ME.
