We're gonna make it after all ~~

Phew, this weekend was so long!  I felt like I didn't have a moment to sit down and take a break, haha.  These last few weeks have been a whirlwind of work, practicing for the band, taking laundry over to my parent's house (our dryer is tired), and trying to give Marty all the love and time he deserves!
Sometimes I wish I didn't work and that all I was responsible for was myself.  Then I think about it for like 3 minutes and I what I really wish is that I had a few days off so I could reenergize myself.  Working at WF has been tough, but rewarding.  I've been getting a lot of overtime, which is money that Lam and I can really use, especially as we're preparing to move out next Spring.  I am so close to paying off my tuition, too!!  I'm hoping to get it paid off by the end of November, which I will be so proud of :)

Band practice is cancelled for tonight (YAY!), so Lam and I are going over to Mom and Dad's house tonight to help paint some ghosts for this event called Trunk or Treat.  It's for kids in my church's neighborhood and they will go trick-or-treating from trunk to trunk.  The trunks are also decorated with different Halloween scenes.  We are doing a football theme, where the "Vikings are so bad, they're scary!!"  Basically, we are painting a lot of ghosts with jerseys and placing them on a football field that Andrew and Dad are going to design and put together.  We are also going to dress up like different players, but scary, of course!  I think Dad is going to be a coach, though.  Should be fun!  It will be hard to avoid the candy...  :D

Anyways, back to work for me!  It's only 9:30, so I have a long way to go...  Aaahah.  Can't wait to sleep in this Saturday!!

My blog has had a FACELIFT.

Well, it's about that time of year again.  I spend too much time inside and not enough out!  The word snow has come up in one too many of my conversations.  It's only October, but there will probably be a blizzard of some sort next week.  Ready to drive through this again, everyone?

Anyways, there have been a lot of changes in my life since I last updated this infernal thing!  First, the big things...

1) Lam and I are engaged!!  We don't have a date set, or any plans yet, really.  Right now, we are trying our best to pay off alot of our debt and save up so we can move.  Speaking of debt...

2) I also bought a car!!  I've had it since April and I love being able to run around whenever I want/need to.  I'm singing in the band again, too, so since I have some extra funds...

2) I am almost done with paying off my tuition!!  I plan to be done by the end of this year.  I should be able to do this as long as I continue my new job at...

3) Wells Fargo Home Mortgage!!  I started this August and so far, I absolutely love it.  The training period alone convinced me that I am going to do very well in this position.  Right now, I am also top on my team in sales, of which I am very proud.  Speaking of being proud...

4) Lam got hired on at Slumberland!!  He is working full time in the warehouse.  It took him awhile to find a new position after leaving Cub, but this one seems like a good position for him right now.  Because we both had a little extra money and we're still living together at his house...

5) We have a new member of our family: Marty McFly!!  He is a lovely puppy and he just turned 3 months old!  Here is a photo from the first day we had him:

Marty isn't feeling too well today, so Lam might have to take him to the vet.  I hope he is okay!!

Anyhow, I think that's about it for now.  I'm excited to see both Emma and Liz when I get off work in a few hours.  I've been working alot of overtime, so I need a break, haha.  Well, I should probably get back to work now.
